Energy from Waste Plant in Aberdeen
MTA Engineering has executed detail engineering for the steel structures of the NESS Energy Project. The weight of designed structure amounted to 985 tons. Located in Northeast Scotland, energy from waste facility has the capacity to process 150,000 tonnes of municipal solid waste annually, converting it into electricity. The plant processes non-recyclable waste from Aberdeen City, Aberdeenshire, and Moray Councils, treating it in a clean and thorough manner that fully complies with the most recent stringent European emission standards.
