Stadium 974

The 974 stadium located  in Doha, Qatar is the first ever fully removable facility of this type. The stadium is constructed with modular steel elements. The unusual name of the stadium corresponds to the direction number to Qatar and the number of containers that constitute the structure of the facility.

Its construction began in 2018 and it was commissioned in November 2021. The stadium can accommodate 40,000 people.

MTA Engineering was responsible for detail engineering of steel structure and optimization of technical solutions for the stadium. The weight of designed structures amounted to 25,000 tons.
