Integrated Transport Center in Lublin
The Integrated Transport Center in Lublin stands as the most significant project undertaken by the city’s local government, featuring a newly constructed bus station and a reconstructed transportation network.
MTA Engineering executed for this investment workshop design of steel columns and roofing along with calculations of the joint connections. The construction of the station’s roof, consists of pillars with their crowns and trusses filling the space between the so-called “pillar-trees”. Both elements, due to their architectural appearance and the high degree of complexity of welded joints, are assembled from very precisely cut and joined elements.
MTA Engineering’s efforts on this project were recognized in 2002 with the Tekla BIM Awards, honoring it as the most intriguing project realized using TEKLA STRUCTURES software in the category Public Projects.
