MTA Engineering was awarded in 2021 by Doosan Lentjes the contract to supply basic and detail engineering for the boiler house in largest waste to energy plant in Warsaw.
The completion of the project is expected in 2024 when 265,200 tons of municipal solid waste will be thermally treated per year. The new plant using the newest Doosan technology will make a significant contribution to meeting European requirements for sustainable waste management.
It is third waste incineration plant in Poland executed for Doosan for which MTA Engineering has prepared basic and detail engineering. The previous project was a new thermal waste treatment plant in Olsztyn which is now being erected. See more https://mta.com.pl/en/project/wte-olsztyn/
