On October 10, 2023, the 20th Congress of the Polish Chamber of Steel Structures was held, of which MTA Engineering has been a member for over 10 years. The special guest of this year’s edition of the Congress was prof. Marek Belka.
Professor Marek Belka talked about Poland’s development prospects and the threats posed by recent events in the international arena. Representatives of the Ministry of Climate and Environment – Anna Pogorzelska-Fuz (Deputy Director of the Department of Nuclear Energy) and Andrzej Sidło (Advisor in the Department of Nuclear Energy) presented the current status of the national nuclear energy program. In addition, the following topics were discussed during the congress: steel construction in times of energy transformation, the potential of Polish enterprises in the supply chain for the Polish Nuclear Energy Program, steel structures used to build nuclear energy facilities and topics regarding the development of unconventional energy. As every year, the congress was a valuable event, both content and business-wise.
